Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the schedule for the day?

The ceremony will begin at 3pm.

Once the ceremony is over, everyone will be moved into the bar area of the building for cocktail hour. There we’ll be able to have a few drinks, spend time on the patio, or play some lawn games on the putting green while the staff at the venue flips the ceremony space to dinner seating.

Dinner will be served at 5:30pm, and dancing will begin by 7pm.

Is there a hotel shuttle?

Yes! Parking is readily available and free at the venue if you’d prefer to drive yourself and be on your own schedule, but we also have a shuttle going from and to the Holiday Inn.

There will be a total of 5 shuttles, one before the ceremony heading to the venue, one during cocktail hour, and three during the reception at the following times:

  • From Holiday Inn to Stevens Point Country Club

    • 2:45pm

    • 4:30pm

  • From Stevens Point Country Club to Holiday Inn

    • 7:30pm

    • 9:00pm

    • 11:00pm

La Quinta is adjacent to the country club, but across part of the golf course, so driving is still probably the best bet.

There’s also a couple of Lyft drivers in town—but literally only two so it may take some time for them to get to you.

Is there a dress code?

We don’t have a specific dress code in mind, so please come in whatever makes you comfortable and happy! Our families will be doing primarily “dressy casual.”

Is there anything fun to do in Stevens Point?

OF COURSE THERE IS. Besides hanging out with us (you should visit more often and do that), we’ve made a big list of fun things to do in town if you get here early or spend the day here on Sunday!
